Thomas Wright

Partner, President, Principal Broker - Park City, UT

Thomas Wright was born and raised in Utah. During high school, Thomas was selected to be a United States Senate Page by Senator Orrin Hatch and former Senator Jake Garn. He then graduated from Quince Orchard High School in the Washington D.C. metro area. In 1997, he graduated from the University of Utah with two Bachelor of Art degrees: Marketing and Russian.

In 2008, Thomas was invited to become an owner and now serves as the President and Principal Broker of Summit Sotheby's International Realty after the prestigious firm of Lewis Wolcott & Dornbush Real Estate became affiliated with Sotheby's International Realty. Since that time, the company has grown its gross yearly sales volume through aggressive recruiting and strategic planning from $135 million in 2008 to $1 billion in 2013.

Prior to joining Summit Sotheby's International Realty, he was a top-producing sales agent with Prudential Utah Real Estate, served as the marketing director for Coldwell Banker Premier Realty, and was a partner of one of the largest real estate photography companies in the United States. During this time, Thomas was responsible for the marketing initiatives for several hundred real estate agents in offices all across the state of Utah. He also implemented many innovative and successful real estate marketing strategies and ventures that have influenced the residential real estate brokerage industry across the country and co-authored two patents related to online lead generation. Thomas has used his background to speak to large and small groups nationally about lead generation, effective management of leads, innovative sales techniques, social media and web site creation.

Thomas took full advantage of the skiing at Park City Mountain Resort as he grew up in the 1970s and as a member of Glenwild Country Club in Park City, he knows what Park City has to offer. Thomas enjoys traveling the world, which has included a three-week safari in Africa, a two-week golf excursion to Scotland, an Arctic Circle fishing adventure for Northern Pike and a six-week stay with his family in southern France.

Thomas is a civically minded citizen and has been elected and appointed to serve on several key organizations in the community. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the United Way, which serves Salt Lake, Summit and Davis Counties and was recently recognized with one of the organization’s highest honors for its efforts to dramatically change the delivery of early education in Utah. He also served as the Chairman of the Utah Republican Party, the Salt Lake County Republican Party and was a member of the Republican National Committee (RNC). In 2012, Thomas cast all of Utah’s 40 votes for Mitt Romney at the Republican National Convention.

Thomas was married to Caroline Wright in 1998 and together, they have three daughters and one son. Caroline was raised in Newport Beach, California and holds a Masters Degree in Education from Pepperdine University. She is also a fluent Spanish speaker.


Dave Johnson

A native of Salt Lake City, David received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Utah and began his very diverse real estate career by working as a sales agent. The technical side of the real estate business quickly captured his interest and he decided to attend law school, focusing on real estate and contract law. After graduating from law school, David worked as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C. before returning to real estate and forming and managing a title insurance and escrow agency. Those years provided him with in-depth experience through hundreds of complicated real estate closings.

David was next appointed Director of the Utah Division of Real Estate. He began by restructuring state-wide real estate education programs for real estate agents and brokers. He also implemented the adoption and revision of numerous new standardized real estate forms for use throughout the State of Utah. In 1987, David took his experience in real estate sales, title insurance and escrow, and real estate brokerage regulation, and applied it to private law practice with an emphasis in real estate and real estate brokerage law. He served as general counsel to the Utah Association of Realtors® and to the Park City Board of Realtors®. Based upon the real estate education programs he initiated at the Utah Division of Real Estate, David is one of the most highly recognized real estate instructors in the State of Utah.


Ryan Kirkham

With more than 20 years of experience selling Salt Lake City real estate, Ryan Kirkham is an expert in helping buyers and sellers navigate the intricacies of the real estate transaction. He manages the Salt Lake Summit Sotheby’s office and specializes in single-family homes and investment properties. Prior to this position, Ryan acted as managing broker of Kirkham Real Estate, a family business he founded with his parents in 1995 that merged with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in 2015. 

Clients value Ryan’s knowledge and unique skill-set. He holds a finance degree from the University of Utah, helps create the contracts used in Utah real estate transactions, and serves as an expert witness in legal cases. He is a licensed instructor and teaches continuing education classes to Utah real estate agents. Ryan holds the real estate designations of Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate REALTOR® Institute, e-Pro, and Short Sale Specialist — certifications that demonstrate his sales success and expertise. 

Ryan’s peers have recognized him for his excellence. He has earned several Hall of Fame awards from the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS®. Additionally, the Board named him 2014 REALTOR® of the Year among a membership of nearly 7,000 REALTORS®. 

In 2015, Ryan had the rare opportunity to serve as president of the Utah Association of REALTORS®, a 13,000-member organization dedicated to professionalism in the real estate industry. Prior to that, he served as president of the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS®. Ryan has also held positions on the board of directors of the National Association of REALTORS® and UtahRealEstate.com. Together, these positions give Ryan unique insight into real estate trends locally and nationally.

In addition to his professional achievements, Ryan is a fan of University of Utah sports. As a student, he managed the men’s basketball team for legendary coach Rick Majerus. Ryan currently serves on the board of directors for the Crimson Club Athletic Fund at the University of Utah and previously participated on the Young Alumni Board. 

Ryan resides in Salt Lake City with his wife, Jodi, and their seven children. He enjoys running and has completed several marathons and triathlons. He loves to travel and spend time with his family. His greatest joy comes from attending their many dance, music, and sporting events.

Bridgette Osguthorpe

Executive Assistant, Director of Relocation - Park City, UT

Bridgette joined Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in January 2010. She is currently the Director of Business Administration and Relocation and assistant to President and Principal Broker, Thomas Wright. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Bridgette grew up in real estate. Her father owned a successful development company that she managed during high school. After graduating early, she attended college in Southern Utah. Bridgette started her career in commercial real estate when she moved to Oro Valley, Arizona after college. Returning to Utah in 2006, she became a licensed REALTOR® and began managing real estate companies.

Bridgette and her family reside on the Wasatch Back. She enjoys working on home improvement projects and traveling. Although she has returned to her roots in Northern Utah, she still spends as much time as she can in the warmer weather of Arizona.



Joe Averett

Vice President, Marketing - Salt Lake City, UT

A native of Arizona, Joe came to Utah to study Visual Arts and Graphic Design at the University of Utah and Brigham Young University. During college, he pursued jobs in the graphic design field, which led him to working for several small printing and prepress companies in downtown Salt Lake City. He was later hired by Prudential Utah Real Estate, a relatively new brokerage in the Utah market, and worked there for several years before becoming the marketing director for Lance May & Associates, the #1 Realtor along the Wasatch Front. After Lance May decided to retire from the business, Joe was hired back as the Marketing Director for Prudential Utah Real Estate, where he managed the marketing for the company of over 500 agents with multiple developments in Salt Lake City and along the Wasatch Front.

In 2010, Joe accepted a position as the Marketing Director for Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, with responsibility over Park City, Salt Lake City and the St. George markets. In the role of marketing director, he is responsible for the company’s strategic marketing efforts and the delivery of marketing materials, tools and resources for 100+ sales associates in offices throughout the state. Joe is responsible for all of the company's digital marketing, advertising, social media, internet and intranet communications. He has led the redesign of the Summit Sotheby's International Realty website, www.summitsothebysrealty.com, which re-launched in 2016 with the goal of redefining how consumers search for real estate. The website now serves as an integrated marketing solution for the company and provides a consistent, high-quality experience for consumers, allowing them to search for a home in a variety of ways, including by lifestyle. Joe also spearheaded the creation of the official Summit Sotheby’s International Realty YouTube channel, agent intranet/portal, Rezora email marketing platform, and "Smart" Real Estate Market Reports/parkcitymarketupdate.com. He has also acted as the art director of the Collections Magazine, a luxury lifestyle and real estate magazine published bi-annually by Summit Sotheby’s International Realty.


Kim Haskins

Vice President, Operations - Salt Lake City, UT

Kim was born and raised in Utah and has spent the last 15 years acquiring experience in real estate, business management, accounting, and small business start-ups. After studying Accounting at LDS Business College and Weber State University, Kim partnered with an investor to build a gas station/convenience store that they owned and operated before selling to a major chain in 2006. Having been in the industry for several years, Kim was recruited to fill the role of Operations Manager for a fuel equipment construction company. Here she took the company from $300,000 in gross sales to $3.1 million in just three years. After receiving her real estate license in 2007, she jumped at the opportunity to manage the liquidation of a local credit union’s real estate portfolio. In 16 months her team was able to complete over 140 short sale and bank owned transactions. Kim has extensive executive experience managing operations and accounting for rapidly growing companies across Utah. She is analytical, motivated and loves taking on a new challenge. Her exposure to various business cultures and widely diverse industries has given her a unique blend of professional expertise. Outside of work you will find her exploring her passion for travel or spending quality time at home with her family.


Tiffany Fox

Vice President, Marketing - Midway, UT

Beginning her journey in Atlanta Georgia, Tiffany is a product of her never ending passion toward all things creative. Growing up surrounded by powerful mentors, some of Atlanta’s most brilliant artistic minds, it didn’t take long for Tiffany to start negotiating her own contracts and putting her creative touches on projects for brands worldwide.

After graduating from The University of Georgia, where she proudly served the Dawgs as a cheerleader, Tiffany immediately dove into selling and managing marketing solutions that included commercial print, point of sale, fixtures, art and video production. Seeing an opportunity to build her own business, Tiffany packed her bags and headed to California, where her work ethic and creativity afforded opportunities to travel and work internationally.

Upon returning to LA after working in Beijing's fashion industry, Tiffany knew that it was time to fulfill a life-long dream of living near the slopes. Realizing that Park City was the perfect combination of professional opportunity and mountain living, she once again packed her bags, this time, headed to the snow. In the summer of 2013 she became the of Director of Marketing for Park City Television, where she would spend the next two and a half years managing everything from social media strategy to web development, show and commercial production to Sundance Film Festival content logistics.

In the spring of 2016, Tiffany joined the Summit Sotheby’s International Realty team, bringing her award winning creative talents to Utah’s vanguard real estate firm. Her goal is simple: continually position the Summit Sotheby’s International Realty brand through innovation, hard work and passion.


Sharon Garfield

Sharon was born and raised on a ranch in Lost Creek, Utah, where the value of hard work was instilled in her from a very early age. Helping on the farm, riding horses, and racing dirt bikes equaled living the true country dream.

Sharon’s real estate career began at the early age of 16, when she was an assistant to four top producing real estate agents. Having obtained her graduating credits early, she gained experience while on a work release program. After high school, Sharon obtained her real estate license and began working for a real estate brokerage in Park City, Utah, while also attending business management classes. She was originally hired as an assistant to a group of top producing agents, but was quickly promoted to Listing Coordinator and then Transaction Coordinator. Sharon’s ability to quickly master any position and to produce outstanding results resulted in her promotion as Accounting Manager for the brokerage. When that brokerage was acquired by Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, Sharon’s excellent people skills and knowledge, combined with her willingness to work hard, proved invaluable in her current position. Her loyalty, dependably and outstanding performance has earned her the trust of many.

Sharon married her high school sweetheart, Scott, and they reside in Coalville, Utah. Sharon’s true passion for life is being a mother and she and her husband have two beautiful girls, Kennedy and Everly.
