2013 3rd Quarter Park City Real Estate Stats
Published giovedì 18 ottobre 2012 Updated on giovedì 18 ottobre 2012Statistics released by the Park City Board of REALTORS® for the third quarter of 2012 show a slow and steady improvement in the local real estate market. Pended and closed sales in the Greater Park City Area are the highest since 2007, with 617 single family homes sold in the first nine months of 2012 compared to 585 at this time last year- a 5% increase. Additionally, quarter three experienced the lowest foreclosure rate since January of 2007. With interest rates at the lowest they have been in 48 years, these numbers are good news for the hard hit real estate market.

Published venerdì 12 ottobre 2012 Updated on giovedì 18 ottobre 2012The first election results of the season are official – Canyons Resort has been named a Top 10 North American ski resort for the first time in its history in the annual SKI Magazine reader survey. Three Utah resorts now make the top 10. Deer Valley dropped to second place from first last season, while Park City Mountain Resort jumped to fourth place from sixth, according to SKI Magazine. Canyons rose to 10th place from number 16 last year.

Park City Market Update - 2nd Quarter 2012
Published mercoledì 25 luglio 2012 Updated on giovedì 18 ottobre 2012The highlight of the second quarter of 2012 is the increase in the number of Park City real estate sales and pended sales-which is the highest we have seen since the fourth quarter of 2007. Additionally, the second quarter numbers report the highest total dollar volume since 2007. To compliment those statistics, the inventory of active Park City real estate listings is the lowest it has been since 2007. Inventory levels of all property types have decreased since last year, with about 2500 units on the market now compared to about 2700 units a year ago and 3060 in 2010.
