Area Description

The Snyderville Basin can certainly lay claim to the title of "New Frontier" in the Park City area. As a patchwork of dairy farms and cattle ranches in the 1940s, the Snyderville Basin has been transformed into an area of upscale residential properties set around a major open space amenity.

The Swaner Memorial Park is a project designed to preserve almost 1,000 acres in its pre-grazing condition providing protection for sensitive plant and animal life. Subdivisions such as Ranch Place, Snyders Mill, Northshore, Southshore and Sagebrook are important full-time residential areas featuring newly built homes and developed lots.
