Tanner Sansom

A native Utahn born and raised in Salt Lake City, Tanner Sansom is a seasoned real estate professional who specializes in residential home sales in the Heber Valley and neighboring Park City, Utah markets. He attended the University of Utah before jumping into the workforce specializing in sales. Tanner began his career as a software sales representative, gaining valuable firsthand experience while honing his communication and customer service skills. Eventually, Tanner realized his passion for helping people and made the decision to enter the real estate industry.

Before joining Summit Sotheby's International Realty in the spring of 2022, Tanner worked at the in-house sales office at the Red Ledges community in Heber City. Tanner left to join top producing agents Chris Maddox and Mike Wood at Summit Sotheby's in order to grow their clientele base and expand their luxury real estate offerings while being backed by the global power of the Sotheby's International Realty brand.

Tanner specializes in luxury real estate throughout the Heber Valley and Park City areas, with a strong focus on golf course properties and communities. However, he also enjoys working with a variety of clients at all price-points, whether they are first-time home buyers or luxury clients looking for a dream vacation property. He describes himself as young, ambitious, and ready to put in the work necessary to get the best possible deal for his clients. He’s benefited greatly from the close mentorship of the senior agents he partners and works closely with, learning directly from top-performing sales professionals in the area. His goal in real estate is to earn a lifetime trust from his clients, not simply for one transaction.

Tanner’s friendly, charismatic, and optimistic outlook facilitates open communication between his clients and himself. He is ambitious, hardworking and curious, eager to further his real estate education and expertise regardless of circumstances or market conditions. Tanner’s belief is that in order to be successful in real estate, you have to be willing to put in the hours and work hard while learning something from everyone around you.

When he’s not working in real estate, Tanner spends his free time outside being active; he is an avid golfer who boasts a scratch handicap. He is happily married to his wife Erika who works as an ER Nurse at the Heber Hospital. Together, they love to travel and experience different areas and cultures around the world. Tanner is a self-described foodie and will happily recommend a variety of best restaurants in the area to his clients and friends. In the short term, Tanner works to progress and better himself each day; his long-term goal is to eventually be one of the top-producing agents in the greater Park City area’s bustling and dynamic real estate market.
