This past week, our sales associates and management team attended the Sotheby’s International Realty Global Networking Event at the Wynn in Las Vegas, telling the stories of our communities, our lifestyles and one-of-a-kind properties. In return, we studied and learned about real estate trends and markets all over the world. This means no matter where in the world you may be buying or selling a distinctive property, Summit Sotheby’s International Realty sales associates are qualified to help.

The keynote speakers this year were Jeff Hargett, Senior Corporate Director of Culture Transformation at The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center and Martha Stewart, Founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, a successful entrepreneur, pioneer of branded lifestyle living and trusted source for “how-to” information for all aspects of everyday living.

At the event, sales associates of the Sotheby’s International Realty global team were afforded the ability to network with their peers from all over the world as well as attend breakout sessions featuring real estate subject matter experts.

Approximately 2,500 attendees from 155 SIR affiliates in 34 countries and territories came together to network and discuss the latest trends and market research in luxury real estate.

The goal of our new global marketing campaign is to position the Sotheby’s International Realty® brand as the leader in luxury real estate, appealing to the emerging luxury consumer, as well as our established audience, increase brand awareness and drive leads to our local offices.

The brand has executed across print, social and digital outlets, as well as making assets available in an easy to use new online tool for affiliates to incorporate the LIVE campaign into their local marketing strategy.

Sotheby’s International Realty Pledges 150 Homes to Mexico and New Story charity

The Sotheby’s International Realty® brand has partnered with New Story, a non-profit organization that puts 100% of donations toward transforming dangerous living environments into communities of safe, sustainable homes, for $6,000 a home.When you give money to a traditional nonprofit, it usually isn’t clear exactly how that money will be spent. New Story is structured differently: Large grants cover administrative costs, so each dollar given by individual donors can go directly into the nonprofit’s work building affordable housing in some of the poorest communities in the world.

As the house you helped fund is built, you get updates about the walls going up and when the concrete is poured; when it’s complete, the nonprofit sends you a video showing a family moving in.

At our recent global networking event, Sotheby’s International Realty associates pledged 150 homes – almost a million dollars in donations! Our local non-profit Summit Sotheby’s Cares has pledged one home and our St. George office has pledged one additional home. Please contact us if you would like to contribute.
